SOCIAL media personality Xian Gaza pushed back against Min Bernardo’s warning about fake news regarding her daughter Kathryn Bernardo’s love life.
“I’m not spreading fake news,” Xian said in a Facebook video. “Confirmed, 99.9 percent na nagkaayos na sila, nag-reconcile na sila. Naku, ang daming nakakakita—mga hairstylists, iba’t-ibang artista na nagkakausap sila sa backstage, sa dressing room, and off-work. Mga lihim na pagtatagpo and everything else. Ang dami! Kaya nagkaayos na sila. That’s confirmed.”
He then addressed Min directly: “Wag n’yong tinatawag na fake news ‘yung sinasabi ko, baka bigla akong mag-upload ng video dito, baka hindi mo kayanin, mother.”
Min earlier urged the public not to believe unverified rumors, saying, “Wag kayong masyadong naniniwala sa mga fake news.” This came after Xian posted on Facebook that Kathryn and ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla might have reconciled.
“Ang tsismis eh nagkabalikan na daw pala ang KathNiel. This is not kompirmd yet kasi isang source pa lang ang nag-i-splook sa akin. How true?” he wrote.
In a follow-up post, he doubled down on his claim: “Kathryn Bernardo & Daniel Padilla, nagkaayos na! Kompirmd 99.9%! Yung 0.01% ay ‘yung germs na hindi napatay ng Safeguard!”
He later clarified, however, that while the two were already talking again, he never claimed they were officially back together. “Atin-atin na lang muna at huwag na lang sana makakalabas hangga’t kinukumpirma pa natin kung sila ba ay magjowa na ulit. Salamat. Please respect their privacy.”
