VICE Ganda and Ion Perez opened up about the realities of maintaining their relationship as they celebrated their seventh anniversary at a private getaway in Rizal.
In Vice Ganda’s latest vlog, the couple shared that, like any other partnership, theirs is not without conflict.
“We’re not always strong. Hindi naman perfect ang relasyon namin,” Vice said, adding that they make it a rule to resolve disagreements before going to bed. “Bago matulog, mag-uusap na kami.”
Ion said respect remains central to their relationship.
“Kapag mag-isa lang ako, napapaisip din ako kung nagagawa ko ba talaga ang tama bilang partner niya. At naibibigay ko ba ‘yung tamang respeto,” he said. “Ganoon dapat sa relationship, hindi mawawala ‘yung respeto.”
Vice added that love is a lifelong learning process.
“Mas mahirap mag-maintain ng relationship kaysa business,” he said. “Walang kurso tungkol sa love. Matututunan mo lang kapag naranasan mo.”
He said sharing life makes experiences richer. “Love makes life more exciting,” Vice said. “Masarap ma-experience ang life if you have someone to experience it with.”
