VETERAN actor Ricky Davao has passed away. He was 63.
Viva Entertainment confirmed Davao’s death in a social media post on Friday, May 2.
“Pahinga ka na, Sir Ricky,” the company wrote in a Facebook post paying tribute to the award-winning actor.
In 2024, reports surfaced that Davao had been diagnosed with a terminal illness, although details were never publicly disclosed.
Born Frederick Charles Caballes Davao, he was the son of legendary actor Charlie Davao. Over the years, Ricky built a solid reputation as a versatile performer in both lead and antagonist roles across film and television.
He was also formerly married to actress Jackie Lou Blanco, whose mother, Pilita Corrales, passed away just recently.
