ACTOR and performer Kenneth Medrano, who won the Eat Bulaga segment “That’s My Bae,” has appealed for prayers and financial assistance after being diagnosed with cancer.
In a Facebook post, Medrano revealed that he was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer affecting his right testicle and needs to undergo urgent surgery to prevent the disease from spreading.
“Hi everyone, kamusta po kayo? I’m humbly asking for your prayers and support. I was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer (right testicle) and I need to undergo urgent surgery next week to prevent it from spreading,” he wrote.
He said the estimated hospital cost is around P250,000, an amount he admitted he could not shoulder alone.
“The estimated hospital cost is around 250k, and sadly, hindi ko po ito kayang ma-cover mag-isa. Any amount, big or small, will be a big help for my surgery and recovery. If you’re not able to donate, your prayers would mean so much to me,” he added.
Medrano expressed gratitude to those willing to help and asked supporters to continue praying for his recovery.
“Maraming salamat po sa inyong kindness and support. God bless you always,” he said.
He also shared donation details through several platforms, including bank accounts and mobile payment services, under his name.
