SINGING is in Aljur Abrenica’s blood and his partner AJ Raval says his recent viral video just proved it.
In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, AJ said they didn’t expect people to enjoy Aljur’s singing clip that much.
“Hindi po namin inexpect na gano’n po siya tatanggapin ng mga tao, na parang ang saya-saya nila sa video ni Aljur,” she said.
AJ shared that Aljur and his band practiced late into the night before recording.
Boy Abunda added that Aljur’s talent runs in the family as his father was a musician who played in a band and owned a bar.
“Aljur used to sing even before StarStruck. He really sings,” he said.
When asked how Aljur reacted to the attention online, AJ said, “Wala, Tito Boy. Tawa siya nang tawa. Pagdating naman po sa mga bashing, wala rin po siyang feelings diyan.”
She added that Aljur and Tom Rodriguez are open to doing a project together. “Actually gusto po nila. Naririnig ko po… Sir Tom and Miss R.C. Muñoz and Aljur daw po,” AJ said.
AJ also confirmed during the interview that she has five children, three of whom are with Aljur.
