ACTRESS and TV host Alexa Miro turned emotional while performing the OPM classic “Ika’y Mahal Pa Rin” on a “Sing Galing” episode aired on October 5, just weeks after confirming her breakup with presidential son and Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos.
In the segment, Miro was seen wiping away tears as she sang the Rockstar hit alongside hosts Randy Santiago, K Brosas, and Donita Nose.
The actress placed her hand on her chest as her voice cracked during the line “hindi mo ba naaalala ang mga kahapon?” before breaking down in tears.
The hosts were seen comforting Miro, who continued to sing through her emotions until the end of the number.
Miro recently revealed that she and Marcos were in a five-year relationship but chose to keep it private for “security reasons.” She also mentioned that their split allegedly involved former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Franki Russell, though she did not elaborate.
As of writing, Miro has not commented on her tearful on-air performance, which has since gone viral on social media.
