ACTRESS Sachzna Laparan responded to online criticism over the gown she wore to the wedding of Zeinab Harake and Ray Parks, saying the couple had no issue with her outfit.
In a Facebook post, Sachzna said she consulted Zeinab before replying to bashers, and the bride encouraged her to speak up.
She even posted a screenshot of their convo where Zeinab told her: “Oo naman (defend yourself) jusko tinatag nga ako pake ba sila sa soot mo. Akala nila magagalit ako hahahahaha. Di ko nga napansin.”
Sachzna then addressed the backlash: “Kami chill lang tapos kayo galit na galit sa suot ko? 2 years na ko walang issue please lang lubayan nyo ko! PS: naging see through sya dahil sa flash.”
Earlier, Pinoy Publiko reported how Sachzna drew mixed reactions for wearing a sheer, rhinestone-studded gown to the event.
Some called the outfit inappropriate:
“Ok naman po ‘yung suot niya, maganda at bagay sa kanya. Kaso lang po, sa maling event niya ito sinuot… Respeto na lang po, ikinasal,” one user wrote.
Others were harsher:
“Agaw atensyon kasi, attention seeker siya.”
“Wedding po ‘yan, di gala o awardings. Buti di nagalit ang pari.”
“Girl, ‘yan ba tinuro ng magulang mo? Ang maging bida-bida sa kasal ng iba?”
