ACTRESS Rufa Mae Quinto has been cleared of the investment scam case filed against her in connection with alleged violations of the Securities Regulation Code.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, Quinto shared a glam video and expressed gratitude to those who stood by her.
“Maraming salamat sa naniwala sa akin and yes, tapos na ang kaso!” she wrote. “I’m free and alive! I love you all! Move on na tayo.”
In January, Quinto was linked to an alleged investment scam involving Dermacare and was charged with 14 counts of violating Section 8 of the Securities Regulation Code, which prohibits the sale of unregistered securities in the Philippines.
She voluntarily surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation and posted bail amounting to P1.7 million. Quinto maintained her innocence throughout the proceedings.
