HOST Robi Domingo made good on his warning against netizens who threatened him online by visiting the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) today, February 27.
In a Facebook post, Robi shared that he met with NBI chief Jerome Bomediano, NBI Organized and Transnational Crime Division chief, and a certain Atty. Tucay.
He said he learned valuable insights from the officials, including the process of filing a complaint against any government agency, especially when personal safety is at risk—emphasizing that doing so is free of charge.
“Always take screenshots of your complaint and the URL. Even if it’s deleted, the digital trace is still there. (If someone deletes it, it could show intent.),” Robi advised.
“Whether it’s a troll or not, there’s a real person behind the screen, and they are still responsible for their actions,” he added. “Remember, every action has consequences, whether online or offline. Let’s be kind and take responsibility,” he added.
Robi’s action came days after a netizen warned him against pairing actors Donny Pangilinan and Kathryn Bernardo, threatening that solid Belle Mariano supporters would bash him from head to toe.
“Can I consider this a threat? Can I take legal action against this? I don’t tolerate this behavior,” Robi previously responded.
