IBINASURA ng Makati Prosecutor’s Office ang reklamong slight physical injuries laban sa aktor na si Tony Labrusca dahil sa teknikalidad.
Ayon kay Senior Assistant City Prosecutor Edmund Seña, naganap ang insidente noong nakaraang Enero 16 pero isinampa lamang ang reklamo ni Dennis Ibay at ng kanyang abogado noong Hunyo 4.
“Considering that the complaint for slight physical injuries against respondent was only filed on June 4, 2021, or after more than two months from the date of its alleged commission, the crime is already extinguished by reason of prescription,” ani Seña.
Iginiit naman ng abogado ni Labrusca na si Atty. Joji Alonso na walang kasalanan ang kanyang kliyente.
“While the decision of the Honorable Office was based on technical grounds, we remain steadfast that our client is innocent from the aforesaid charge,” ani Alonso sa isang panayam.
Samantala, wala pang resolusyon ang piskalya sa reklamong acts of lasciviousness na isinampa rin kay Labrusca ng isang babae na kasama ni Ibay. –A Mae Rodriguez
