SAN Miguel Corporation (SMC) president and CEO Ramon S. Ang clarified that his son, Jacob Ang, and actress Atasha Muhlach are “just friends” amid online speculation about their relationship.
In an interview, Ang said the two maintain a friendly relationship despite social media buzz questioning if they were a couple.
Rumors began after fans noticed Jacob sharing on social media the trailer of Atasha’s series “Bad Genius,” where she plays the lead role.
The two also follow each other on Instagram, which further fueled the speculation.
“Si Atasha is a very nice lady, napakabait at napakaganda, sobra. Kaibigan lang ng anak kong Jacob,” Ang said.
Neither Jacob nor Atasha has publicly commented on the rumors.
