ACTOR Piolo Pascual is eager to work again with Kapamilya star Coco Martin, whom he described as a “genius” not only in front of the camera but also as a director, writer, and producer.
Piolo made the statement during Julia Montes’ birthday party, which he attended as one of the guests. Julia, a long-time friend of Piolo, is Coco’s partner.
“Looking forward to another collab with this genius!” Piolo said in an interview.
The actor had a first-hand experience of Coco’s dedication when they worked together on “Pamilya Sagrado”, where Coco directed the show’s action-packed stunt scenes.
“Grabe ‘yung intensity ni Coco. Grabe ‘yung commitment niya. He read the script before he came. He was on the set kahit wala siyang tulog. Nag-o-overtime kami. ‘Yung pagmamahal niya sa craft, ‘yung pagmamahal niya sa trabaho, nakaka-impress kasi he’s not doing it to impress people but to contribute to the betterment of the show,” Piolo said.
He also praised Coco’s work ethic and collaborative spirit. “Mahal niya ‘yung industriya kaya nakakatuwa because hindi ka ma-i-intimidate sa kanya. Matutuwa ka sa kanya kasi ang dami niyang contribution na collaborative. And at the same time, alam mong very passionate siya sa ginagawa niya.”
