ACTRESS Andi Eigenmann has expressed frustration over how her kumare, a foreigner living in Siargao, allegedly inserted herself into her relationship with fiancé Philmar Alipayo.
In an Instagram Story, Andi claimed that instead of helping them reconcile after a fight, the woman encouraged Philmar to break up with her.
Adding to the pain, Andi revealed that the day after their argument, the woman convinced Alipayo to get a “matching love tattoo” with her.
While Eigenmann clarified that she never suspected infidelity—saying she was always around when the two were together—she felt betrayed by her supposed friend’s actions.
“I posted because this person betrayed me, encourages my husband to break up with me during every fight, even when I tell my side of the story to her,” she wrote. “She didn’t honor my side and instead chose to celebrate her and my husband’s ‘love’ by convincing him to get a couple tattoo the day after our fight.”
She questioned the timing of the act. “If innocent, why now, when he is vulnerable? Why not when we were okay? Or at least when things had calmed down?”
Eigenmann said she reached out to the woman, said to be the godmother to her children, for an explanation but was completely ignored.
“Yes, I am hurt that my husband didn’t think this would bother me. I’m not ignoring that. But my post was to show that no normal person with good intentions would encourage someone else’s husband to do this without considering the partner’s feelings,” she said.
The actress also emphasized that, despite their fights, she has always chosen to work things out with Alipayo because he is her family.
