KUNG paniniwalaan ang kampo ni Deniece Cornejo, hindi magtatagal ay maililipat na sa Taguig City Jail ang actor-host na si Vhong Navarro.
Ayon sa ulat ng Philstar com., nakatanggap umano ang abogado ni Cornejo na si Howard Calleja ng kautusan mula sa Taguig Regional Trial Court na ibinabasura ang pananatili ni Navarro sa National Bureau of Investigation detention facility.
Inilabas ang utos ng Taguig RTC Branch 69 makaraang maghain ng Manifestation with Urgent Motion si Cornejo na ipinunto na sa city jail at hindi sa NBI dapat nakapiit si Navarro habang dinidinig ang mga kasong acts of lasciviousness at rape na isinampa niya rito.
“It is respectfully prayed that the instant Manifestation with Urgent Motion be resolved urgently, and that the Honorable Court issue and Order directing the proper officer of the National Bureau of Investigation Detention Center to immediately transfer the accused (Navarro), from the National Bureau of Investigation Detention Center to Taguig City Jail,” ani Cornejo sa petisyon.
“The rules of court provide that the arresting officer should bring the accused to the nearest police station or jail without unnecessary delay,” dagdag nito.
Matatandaang ikinulong sa NBI matapos maglabas ng Taguig RTC Branch 69 ng warrant of arrest kaugnay ng reklamong panggagahasa na isinampa rin ni Deniece.
Naghain naman ng petition for bail ang abogado ng Navarro na si Atty. Alma Mallonga para pansamantalang paglaya nito.
