ACTOR Jake Cuenca has confirmed that his relationship with actress Chie Filomeno is officially over, though he clarified that there was no dramatic breakup between them.
“I can officially say that chapter of my life is over now,” Jake said in an interview shared by Ganiel Krishnan on X on October 7.
The actor spoke with fondness and respect for his former girlfriend. “I might have had a lot of time to process everything and accept everything. For me, if you really love someone, you wish them all the happiness in the world. You want them to be happy and you want them to be loved as well,” he said.
Reports of their split surfaced in September 2025 after the two unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The rumor mill later churned out claims from self-styled “Pambansang Marites” Xian Gaza, who alleged that businessman Matt Lhuillier was the reason behind Chie’s decision to leave Jake, an issue that she has neither confirmed nor denied.
