A NUMBER of netizens slammed actress Jackie Forster over her statement that Kyline Alcantara physically assaulted her son Kobe Paras when they were in a relationship.
While some empathized with her as a mother who simply wanted to defend her son from accusations that he was a cheater, most criticized her for what they described as unnecessary and excessive.
“Some things were said and done… that were, let’s say, red flag. For the next few months, Kobe had a few more encounters with Kyline’s parents that really put him off,” Forster said in a video she uploaded. “So, he finally left. Kobe gives his all. He’s generous. He’s kind. He sticks to one, but when he is made to feel a certain way, he’s done.”
But online, many were not buying her narrative.
“Parang nabinat na si auntie ko, kung ano-ano na lang lumalabas sa bibig. Parang siya yung biktima,” one user commented.
“Malamang kwento mo yan! Masama siya d’yan! HAHAHAHA!” added another.
Others pointed out the physical disparity between Kobe and Kyline, questioning Jackie’s claim.
“Ang laki-laki ni Kobe! Sa liit ni Kyline???? Si Kyline pa talaga nananakit? Ay grabe na yan!” one comment read. “Cyber libel na yan, Miss Jackie!”
Some also criticized the level of involvement Jackie had in her son’s private affairs.
“Dapat mga nanay di nakikialam sa issue ng relasyon ng anak. Jusmeyo…” a netizen posted.
Still others mocked Kobe as a “mama’s boy,” with one saying, “Ayan, ang nanay pa ang nag-e-explain. Labas niyan, mama’s boy si Kobe.”
