NETIZENS were unimpressed with actress Angelica Panganiban’s complaint about Metro Manila traffic, calling her out for being out of touch with the daily struggles of commuters.
Angelica took to Instagram recently to vent her frustration: “Makati to BGC, 4km ang layo to be exact. Pero 1hr ang travel time. What if mag-cry na lang tayo all together?”
Her post quickly drew backlash, with some netizens mocking her for complaining about an issue that ordinary Filipinos endure daily.
“Di ba mayaman ka? Mag-eroplano ka para hindi ka mawindang,” one user quipped.
Others called on celebrities to experience real-life hardships, saying, “Kayong mga artista, matuto rin kayong dumanas ng hirap at pagtitiis. Hindi lahat ng pagkakataon puro lang pasarap sa buhay ginagawa niyo.”
Some speculated she might be out of touch with local conditions, with one comment reading, “Hayaan nyo na siya, baka ngayon lang siya nakapunta sa Pilipinas kaya nagreklamo sa traffic.”
