SOCIAL media users were far from thrilled after actress Andi Eigenmann and fiancé Philmar Alipayo were seen getting new tattoos together—just weeks after their publicized fight.
A video shared by Island Tattoo and Piercing Studio on Facebook showed the couple getting inked while their kids, Lilo and Koa, played nearby. “Another tattoo session with the power couple,” the studio captioned. “We couldn’t be more stoked to have them back together.”
But while the shop celebrated the moment, netizens were quick to express skepticism. Some questioned whether tattoos could truly patch up a relationship scarred by controversy.
“Having tattoos does not prove anything,” one user wrote. Another added, “Matching tattoos won’t guarantee loyalty.”
Others were more blunt. “Why do you need a tattoo to prove love? Plenty of couples with matching ink have broken up. Sayang balat mo, Andi.”
A few, however, chose to be optimistic.
“Maybe this will help them stay secure and faithful to each other—for their kids and their future. And world peace!” a fan said.
“Never laugh at people who are trying their best to make their marriage work,” another quipped.
