ACTRESS Nadine Lustre and her boyfriend Christophe Bariou have announced the temporary closure of their restaurant, Ver de Siargao, located in General Luna, Siargao.
The couple shared the news through a social media post, saying, “We’re packing up the greens and heading somewhere new. Closed for a week while we fix, plant, and vibe. Reopening soon — new place, same soul.”
The post suggests that Ver de Siargao will soon move to a new location.
The update comes weeks after Christophe revealed that he and Nadine had been harassed for refusing an alleged P50-million extortion attempt linked to a supposed representative of a local government official.
Christphe claimed the harassment stemmed from their opposition to the Union–Malinao Bridge project, which he and Nadine have been actively protesting along with residents and civic groups. The couple believes the project could damage the island’s environment and affect local fishing.
