VIVAMAX actress Karen Lopez surfaced online on Wednesday, May 14, more than a week after her sudden disappearance.
In a Facebook post, Karen, whose real name is Iris Abraham, explained that she needed time to deal with personal issues.
Dumaan ako sa mga bagay na medyo mabigat mentally and emotionally, at napagtanto kong kailangan kong unahin ang well-being ko, even if that meant stepping back for a while,” she wrote.
Karen, 21, also thanked those who expressed concern during her absence.
Slowly, I’m getting better and trying to come back stronger, one step at a time,” she said.
Slowly but surely, I’m getting back on track. Appreciate you all so much,” the actress added.
Her disappearance earlier this month prompted concern from fans and her family.
According to the Quezon City Police District, Lopez was last seen on May 5 when she was picked up from her condominium unit by her boyfriend around noon. Since then, the two had not been in contact with anyone.
Her mother filed a missing persons report with the QCPD after failing to reach her.
