NAGWAGI ang aktres na si Max Eigenmann ng Best Actress award para sa pelikulang “12 Weeks” sa 18th Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival.
Sa kanyang speech, inalay ni Max ang award sa namayapang tiyahin na si Cherie Gil.
“Tita Cherie, this is for you! Mabuhay ang pelikulang Pilipino!” ani Max.
Bago ito, nagbigay-pugay sa Instagram si Max para sa legendary actress.
“To everyone else, she is Cherie Gil. The OG kontravida…not to me. To me, she is my aunt. My Tita Cherie. The one I’d usually call when her brother (my father) pissed me off. Cos she always knew what to do to make me feel better,” ani Max, anak ng kapatid ni Cherie na si Mark Gil.
“She was truly one of my best friends. I realize now that I only ever enjoyed drinking wine because of her. SHE was my glass of wine,” dagdag ni Max.
