ACTRESS Kris Bernal revealed that she was rushed to the hospital after suffering from an oversupply of breast milk, which led to painful breast inflammation.
In an interview, Kris recalled the ordeal, saying she had to donate her stored milk rather than let it go to waste.
“Dumating ako sa point na I had to donate ‘yung mga nai-store kong milk kaysa masira kasi ayaw na ng baby ko ‘yung stored milk. Gusto niya fresh,” she shared. “Nagka-emergency ako kasi sobrang dami kong milk, ayaw nang lumabas! Oo, na-ER ako, engorged na guys!”
Despite the challenges, Kris continues to prioritize breastfeeding her daughter, Hailee Luca, who was born on August 15, 2023.
She maintains her milk supply by eating malunggay leaves and nutrient-rich soups.
“Actually, puwede na ako mag-stop kasi one year and five months na si baby. Pero dahil very dependent pa siya sa milk ko, kailangan kong gawin para magtuloy-tuloy ang good health ni baby,” she said.
