ACTRESS Kris Bernal had a lighthearted response to accusations that she’s trying to imitate fashion icon Heart Evangelista.
During her guesting on LOL’s “Your Honor” segment, co-host Chariz Solomon teased her, saying: “Yung feeling Heart Evangelista ka daw. Anong masasabi mo doon?”
The Stolen Life actress burst out laughing before replying, “Hindi ko alam, bakit? Ah, kasi kung feeling Heart Evangelista ako, eh ’di sana meron din ako nung mga Bulgari niya, lahat ng alahas niya… o kaya meron ako ng kasing dami ng Birkin. Eh ’yon, wala naman akong mga gano’n. Diyos ko!”
Kris added that instead of splurging on luxury brands, she’s currently focused on completing her dream home with her husband, businessman Perry Choi.
When asked about her thoughts on people who own luxury items, Kris said she sees them as an inspiration rather than competition. “Nai-inspire ako na parang kailangan ko pang magtrabaho, o parang gusto ko pang mag-open ng business para mabili ko ’yan, ’yung ganun,” she said.
