KRIS Aquino revealed that she dreams of seeing her son, Bimby, serve as a mayor someday.
In an interview with Ogie Diaz on his YouTube channel “Ogie Diaz Inspire,” Kris said that one of her biggest prayers is to live long enough to witness Bimby reach his goals, especially now that he has turned 18.
“Nagdarasal ako na sana umabot ako ng another seven years kasi na-discover ‘yung autoimmune disease ko seven years ago, so, sana umabot ako na makita siya soaring in as mayor,” she said.
Kris shared that Bimby’s honesty, ability to deal with people, and skills in budgeting make him a good fit for public service.
“Gusto niya marunong siyang maki-deal sa lahat ng tao, sobrang honest nito, so, hindi ‘yan talaga magnanakaw at all. And magaling mag-budget, so, maalagaan niya ‘yung mga tao,” she said.
Kris also revealed that Bimby is considering four possible areas where he could run and that he plans to pursue Legal Management in college, a course he described as “diverse” and useful in business, politics, and even showbiz.
Kria, proud of her son’s charisma, told him during the interview, “First of all, you have to have charisma and you have that. And of course, you’re a cute mayor.”
The former TV host added that another unfulfilled dream of hers is to see Bimby study at Harvard University.
