Kris Aquino says she’s ready to go out, meet fans again

QUEEN of All Media Kris Aquino shared a new health update and said she hopes to soon be well enough to go out, shop, and even take selfies with supporters, as long as she remains protected and comfortable while undergoing treatment.

In a post on Instagram, Kris talked about her ongoing search for a place where she and her sons Josh and Bimby can stay long-term. She disclosed that for now, they are temporarily staying at a Microtel Inn in Tarlac while she continues her treatment and considers relocation options.

One of the locations she is seriously evaluating, she said, is Alto in San Miguel, Tarlac, a property closely associated with her late mother, former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino.

Kris explained that her checklist includes good air quality, wheelchair accessibility, and a stable internet connection with at least 300 Mbps. She added that she avoids direct sunlight and bathes while seated.

“If you see someone in a colorful mask, an orange wheelchair, shopping for groceries and toilet paper — that’s me. Hindi ako snob,” she wrote.

Kris also recalled traveling around the Philippines with her longtime aide Alvin, noting how she would feel comforted when passing through towns with familiar banks, fast food chains, or a Max’s Fried Chicken nearby.

The television personality ended her post with a message to her late brother, former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.

“Your beloved room gets the least light… The two boys and I will sleep there. Your face and your ‘Behave, Kristina, Joshy, Bimb!’ We miss you,” she said.
