FANS and the media were caught off guard after comedian Kiray Celis appeared to have married her longtime boyfriend Stephan Estopia, following a series of photos that quickly made the rounds on social media.
In an Instagram post, Celis shared images of what looked like a beach wedding at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan. She captioned the post with “#TEPANallyfoundhisdesTINGny,” a wordplay on “destiny” incorporating their names.
Celebrities and netizens flooded the comments section with congratulations, noting that the couple had recently released their prenup photos as well as snapshots from their bridal shower and stag party.
The images sparked reports that the pair had already tied the knot. However, it was learned that the shoot was only for a music video.
Celis’ team confirmed the real story: “Opo, music video lang po ’yan… hindi pa po ’yan wedding, hehehehe.”
In previous reports, Kiray had announced that their actual wedding is set for December, with Sharon Cuneta among their principal sponsors.
