Katrina Halili, daughter Katie honored for family influence, advocacy

ACTRESS Katrina Halili and her daughter Katie have been recognized by the 3rd Asian Pillars Awards for their “transformative influence” in promoting family advocacy, parenting transparency, and emotional resilience.

The mother-daughter duo will receive the Asian Pillars of Celebrity Social Influence and Inspiration Award on September 12 at Okada Manila.

The recognition highlights Katrina’s journey as a single mother raising Katie, who has mild autism spectrum disorder.

“Their story isn’t one of perfection—it’s one of persistence, vulnerability, and genuine love. Through every challenge and triumph, Katrina proves that influence isn’t just about followers, it’s about impact,” the award-giving body said in a statement.

“Katrina Halili and her daughter Katie remind us that the most meaningful roles aren’t on screen—they’re the ones we live every day. As they continue to grow, inspire, and advocate, they shine a light on parenting with grace, courage, and fierce love,” it added.

In an Instagram post, Katrina expressed her gratitude: “Waaaaaaah… salamat Asian Pillars Awards.”
