SINGER-host Karylle has denied rumors that she is pregnant, calling out false reports that have circulated multiple times.
Speaking on her podcast K’s Drama, Karylle clarified that while the speculation isn’t necessarily harmful, it has become an ongoing issue.
“I’ve been stopped on the street and congratulated for being pregnant, and I have to explain, of course, that I’m not,” she said.
“This is the third time this has happened. I knew a categorical denial would be useless because people believe what they want to believe. Maybe some just feel good congratulating me,” she added.
She also pointed out that misinformation affects people regardless of their background.
“It’s not about education level—many have been misled by this news. So, I’m here to tell you once again: the news is fake. I.e., fake news.”
Karylle is married to Spongecola frontman Yael Yuzon.
