ACTRESS and singer Kakai Bautista drew criticized contractor Sarah Discaya, who earlier expressed fear of being separated from her family should she be jailed.
In a recent interview, Discaya became emotional as she spoke about the possibility of imprisonment, citing concerns over her children, whom she said have Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
“Ayoko, ayoko sana [makulong]… kasi as everyone knows, my kids, they all have ADHD. Husband ko nasa Senate tapos ako makukulong. Ang hirap. Ang hirap. Hindi ko alam kung paano ’yong mga anak ko. Hindi ko talaga alam,” Discaya said.
Reacting to the interview, Kakai posted a strongly worded message on social media, saying Discaya and her family should face public anger over her alleged involvement in anomalous flood control projects across various parts of the country.
“Kung mahal n’yo ang mga anak n’yo, hindi kayo magiging sakim,” she wrote. “You will be served with what you deserve. Deserve ng pamilya mo ang bawat galit na meron ang bawat Pilipino.”
Kakai added that she believed accountability would eventually come. “Patas si karma. We are excited to watch you suffer the consequences,” she said.
“Ang hindi ko lang maintindihan, naaawa siya sa pamilya niya, naaawa siya kung kanino, dapat maaawa din siya doon sa mga taong biniktima nila. ‘Yung mga taong binabaha sa Bulacan, ‘yong mga taong binabaha doon sa Davao Occidental na kailangang-kailangan no’ng eskwelahan doon saka ng mga bahay do’n, ng flood control pero wala silang ginawa. Ghost projects,” Kakai added.
