ACTRESS Jennica Garcia found herself briefly trapped inside an elevator and coped with the ordeal by talking in English.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Jennica recounted how the elevator she was riding failed to open, prompting a mild panic.
She began recording her experience while inside the stalled lift, narrating her anxiety in rapid English and making light of her fear.
“Ganoon ako kapag takot na. Nagi-Ingles ako. Sorry na,” she wrote in her caption.
Despite her concern that she might be stuck for a long time, Jennica kept smiling throughout the video, calling the situation “nakakatawang nakakakaba.”
Fortunately, building maintenance personnel were able to open the elevator doors a few minutes later. The actress immediately stepped out and thanked every staff member she encountered.
“Buti na lang gumana ang emergency button,” she said. “Kung hindi, baka nag-breakdown ako sa loob.”
