KAPAMILYA actress and vlogger Ivana Alawi is open to dating but has yet to find the right man—especially after past experiences of being treated like a “sugar mama.”
Despite having suitors, Ivana remains single, prioritizing her showbiz career and family. However, she shared that by the time she turns 30—she’s now 28—she hopes to settle down and start her own family.
When asked why she prefers non-showbiz men, Ivana candidly revealed her frustration with dating actors.
“Ano ka ba? Nakailang date na ako ng mga taga-showbiz, ginagawa akong mama, sugar mama! Ako naman, okay lang ang split the bill. Pero huwag naman todo-todo na lahat na lang ako,” she said.
She also admitted that she struggles with seeing an actor-partner in intimate scenes.
“Ayoko yung showbiz na nakikita ko nakikipaglaplapan sa iba, hindi ko kaya. Pero ako, puwede, di ba?” she said.
“If I choose someone from showbiz, he should understand my work. Kasi ako, may kissing scenes, bed scenes—so dapat ready siya. Pero ako, hindi ako ready sa kanya. Kaya non-showbiz,” she added.
Ivana also confirmed that politicians have tried to court her, but she has no interest in dating them.
“Marami e. Iba-iba. Dedma, o kaya pagka ano, dedma. Date na lang ako ng non-showbiz,” she said.
