ACTRESS Andi Eigenmann has called out vlogger Crist Briand, also known online as “Brader,” for posting a video featuring her 13-year-old daughter Ellie, which triggered a wave of inappropriate comments from netizens.
“Seeing comments saying OA, highblood, overreacting yadda yadda yadda from women and mothers, no less,” Eigenmann wrote in a post.
She said the seemingly innocent “Hi” from Ellie in the clip became problematic when “lewd and inappropriate remarks” flooded the comments section from Briand’s “rabid and bastos followers.”
“And ‘Brader’ did nothing to stop it,” she said, stressing that no parental consent was sought for the video.
Eigenmann pointed out the difference between content shared by Ellie’s father, actor Jake Ejercito, and what Briand had posted.
“Does her father have bastos followers commenting inappropriate things? No. Because a father posting about his own child is not the same as a grown man posting a teenage girl for clout.”
She also called the act “disrespectful and exploitative.”
“My daughter made it clear that we will not be OK with you doing this. And she clearly is uncomfortable. Build your platform on integrity! Don’t use our daughter for clout,” she added.
