BILANG isang KDrama fan, tahasang kinontra ni Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla ang pagbabawal sa pagpapalabas nito sa bansa.
“Like many Caviteños, I am also a fan of KPop and KDramas. I think they strike a chord in the Filipino heart,” aniya sa Facebook post.
Dagdag ng gobernador, naging ‘kanlungan” ng maraming Pinoy ang mga Korean drama noong kasagsagang pandemya.
“At the height of the pandemic when most of us were locked in our homes, KDramas and KPop gave many Filipinos hope and inspiration,” sey ni Remulla.
“There are no boundaries in pop culture. Learn and take inspiration from what the Koreans have achieved. We can do that, too,” aniya pa.
