ERASERHEADS frontman Ely Buendia confirmed that guitarist Marcus Adoro will not be part of the band’s upcoming show, as the musician faces allegations of abuse.
“As proponents of justice, we unequivocally condemn all criminal acts and stand against abuse of any form. Above all, we seek the truth,” Buendia said in a statement.
The band is set to headline the “Eraserheads: Electric Fun Music Festival” on May 31. Buendia did not elaborate further on the decision but emphasized the group’s stance against abuse.
Adoro has been accused of physical and psychological abuse by former partner Barbara Ruaro. The guitarist has yet to issue a new statement on the matter.
