ACTRESS Ellen Adarna went public on Monday, Nov. 17, with screenshots she said showed actor Derek Ramsay messaging another woman only days only days after they became a couplr in 2021.
Ellen’s posts came shortly after Derek uploaded cryptic Instagram Stories about the “six stages of marriage.” In that post, he highlighted what he called Stage 3, the “frustration stage,” where “arguments sting deeper,” doubts begin to surface and a spouse starts to wonder if he or she “chose the wrong person.”
Hours after the post, Ellen called out her estranged husband before releasing a series of Instagram Stories showing private messages dated Feb. 13, 2021. She and Derek had made their relationship official on Feb. 4 of that year.
“The audacity. Wow. The Audacity era. Wow. Sad boi era. Wow. Victim. Wow. Sympathy fishing,” she said.
In one of the screenshots, an unnamed woman complained that Ramsay had been trying to reach her repeatedly on Instagram, WhatsApp and text. She also said she no longer wanted to entertain him because he “always” had excuses.
She added that even “regular cheaters” usually behave during the early part of a relationship, but that in this case the alleged exchange happened only nine days in.
Some followers asked why she still married Derek. Ellen replied that she had learned about the messages only recently. She said someone had informed her about them three weeks ago.
Ellen said she could not reveal the woman’s identity on the advice of her lawyers but clarified that the person was not an ex-girlfriend. She described her as a longtime friend of Derek who had been “there for decades.”
The actress also addressed online gossip and said she might release more information at the proper time. “Ano na mga pambansang marites? Anong pinaglalaban nyo sa smear campaigns nyo? I have more but will release it at the right time and the proper forum,” she said.
