SINGER Jojo Mendrez appears to have found a new musical partner in Visayas-Mindanao-based performer Elias, replacing his former collaborators Mark Herras and Rainier Castillo.
Speculation grew after Elias reportedly cancelled several commitments to travel to Manila for the collaboration.
In a clip that has since gone viral, the singer also danced for Mendrez, who appeared visibly amused—further fueling talk of a possible on-screen pairing.
Fans have since coined the moniker “Jolias” for the two, a name that Elias himself used in one of the videos.
Supporters are looking forward to upcoming projects featuring the duo, including rumors that Elias may be “The Boy” in the remake of Mendrez’s I Love You, Boy under Star Music.
Mendrez is also expected to make special appearances in Elias’ upcoming shows as a show of support for the rising artist.
