SINGER-ACTOR Janno Gibbs did not hold back in defending himself from netizens who labeled him an “enabler” for reacting to a post by his longtime friend Dennis Padilla.
On an Instagram post by Dennis’ brother Gene Padilla—where Gene expressed disappointment over how Dennis was treated at the wedding of his daughter Claudia—Janno commented with three crying emojis.
However, his seemingly harmless gesture did not sit well with some netizens, who accused him of enabling Dennis and allegedly fueling the actor’s public narrative against his children.
“Nakikisimpatya lang sa kaibigan,” Janno explained on his Instagram. “Define enabler,” he added.
But when the criticism continued, the singer lost his cool and unleashed a barrage of expletives against his critics.
“Mga put***ina nyo. Wala naman ako sinabing sang-ayon ako,” he wrote. “Malungkot ang kaibigan ko, nakikisimpatya lang ako. Emoji lang, enabler na? Hindi ko siya pinagtatanggol, mga ul*l. Dinadamayan ko lang sa kalungkutan. Mga t*nga.”
