A VACATION photo posted on Instagram has fueled speculation that Puregold Price Club Inc. president Ferdinand Vincent Co is in a relationship with actress Bea Alonzo.
Co, the eldest son of retail tycoons Lucio and Susan Co, recently shared aphotos from a trip to Andalucia, Spain on his private Instagram account. One of the images featured a woman whose identity was not disclosed.
Observers quickly noted that Bea had posted photos from the same location, wearing the same outfits seen in Co’s posts.
The actress also “liked” several of Co’s photos, further sparking rumors of a relationship.
A source familiar with the matter confirmed to InsiderPH that Co and Alonzo are a couple and that the relationship is serious.
“Vincent is very open about Bea within his private circle,” the source said. “Both families are aware and supportive. They are very happy, and very much in love.”
Co reportedly brought Alonzo to his family’s vineyard in Spain. The same source said an engagement “is definitely a possibility.”
Co, who has led Puregold since 2015, maintains a low public profile despite holding key positions in the family’s retail, real estate, and liquor businesses. Their publicly listed companies are valued at around ₱175 billion.
Puregold operates over 600 stores nationwide, including S&R Membership Shopping outlets.
