PAROKYA ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda marked his 50th birthday with a message of gratitude, contentment, and quiet joy, saying he has reached a stage in life where happiness, health, and family come first.
In an Instagram post, Chito said he does not mind growing older, admitting he feels fulfilled and free of regrets after enjoying what he described as a sometimes chaotic but meaningful journey.
“I’m healthy and happy. Wala akong boss kundi si God at ang asawa ko,” Miranda wrote, adding that his priorities now revolve around his family’s well-being.
He spoke fondly of his wife and their three children, whom he described as loving, funny, and endlessly energetic, and shared how grateful he is to balance music, travel, and fatherhood.
Chito also reflected on his career, calling it a privilege to “party with childhood friends pretending to be rockstars” while still being present for his children’s everyday moments.
“At this point in my life, simple na lang ang gusto ko,” he said, adding that he has no birthday wishes left, only gratitude.
