PAROKYA ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda has admitted to performing while intoxicated during a gig in Pasig on the eve of the Chinese New Year.
In an Instagram post, Miranda shared a photo of himself lying on stage while his bandmates continued playing at the 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub in Capitol Commons.
“‘Yung naka-two hours na kayo tumugtog tapos lasing na lasing ka na, tapos last song na dapat… biglang may nag-request ng ‘Sampip’ at ‘Wag Mo Na Sana,’” he wrote.
The singer added in the comments section that the band played the two songs after receiving a special request.
“P10K request yata e,” he quipped.
