VETERAN actress Carmi Martin revealed that one of her former boyfriends turned out to be gay, while another suitor also came out and was last seen joining a Santacruzan.
In an interview with entertainment reporters, Carmi shared that during her peak in the 1980s and 1990s, she attracted a wide range of admirers—including closeted gay men and teenagers.
“Naging boyfriend ko, bading! At siya may boyfriend na ngayon, samantalang ako, wala! Hahaha!” she quipped. “Noon kasi, hindi ko naman naramdaman na beki pala siya.”
She didn’t specify how long the relationship lasted but recalled another suitor who came out after she rejected him.
“May isa pa na nanligaw sa akin, na noong binasted ko, nakita ko na lang sa ‘Santacruzan’—bading na! Haha!” Carmi said.
The actress also revealed that several teenage boys tried to court her back then, but she turned them all down despite their emotional pleas.
