FANS of actor Brent Manalo came to his defense after he was criticized online for his outfit at the recently held GMA Gala 2025, where some labeled him among the event’s “worst dressed.”
The PBB Celebrity Collab Edition grand winner wore an all-white loose-fitting suit that drew flak for being ill-fitted for the formal event.
One netizen commented, “Is it just me or mukha talagang hiniram lang ni Brent yung suot niya sa tatay niya? I mean don’t get me wrong, ang ganda nung design ng suot niya. Ang linis, ang pulido and class pero yung fit talaga.”
Another said, “Korean style loose ang fit ng suit, pero not appropriate for a formal event,” while a different user added, “Yung outfit tonight is not giving. Bagay sa kanya loose style pero not this one. Mas oks for me na proper yung fit niya tutal formal event naman ang ball!”
Others recalled how Manalo’s style had once been praised inside the PBB house but questioned his fashion choices at the gala. “I liked his outfits nung nasa PBB pa siya pero parang nag-over lang itong outfit na to,” one user said.
Despite the criticisms, Manalo’s fans pushed back. “Ganun talaga manamit si Brent, mga loose style which bagay rin naman sa kanya,” said one supporter. Another wrote, “Ang gwapo kaya ni Brent last Saturday! Lalo siyang naging fresh at mamahalin sa suot niya!”
Fans also pointed out that the actor’s look was far from cheap. “Hoy! Mamahalin ang suot ni Brent namin no! Gucci ang tatak ng all-white suit niya at Tiffany & Co. yung suot niyang jewelry brooch, bro!” one netizen said.
