ACTRESS Bela Padilla made a surprise trip to Cebu to check on her close friend Kim Chiu,
Kim, who is filming the upcoming series The Alibi with Paulo Avelino, appeared visibly shocked in a photo Bela shared on social media.
“She might think that I flew and drove all this way to make her feel good but days like this and seeing that she’s doing well make me feel 100% better too,” Bela wrote.
Bela, who like Kim is a Taurean, reflected on their shared resilience, saying they often resolve problems quietly. “By now, I think we can read Kim like a book… The same way I didn’t need to ask her to come and hang out with me in Zurich when my dad passed away,” she said.
“You’re one of my smartest, strongest friends, Kim,” she added. “I hope you get a few days to rest and breathe after this cycle of taping. Always proud of you, Kimmy! As I will keep on saying… anytime, anymore.”
