ACTRESS Barbie Imperial became emotional after reaching a major personal milestone: building her own home in Bicol after a decade in the entertainment industry.
In a Facebook post, Barbie expressed gratitude to the people who helped her achieve the dream of providing a home for her family and, eventually, for herself in her home province.
“Oh my… 10 years in the industry and was able to put a roof over my mama and kuya’s heads, and now I have my own home in my province,” she wrote.
Imperial also thanked ABS-CBN and her Star Magic family for the projects entrusted to her, saying their support made her achievement possible.
She acknowledged that the journey was not easy, recalling years of hard work, sleepless nights, exhaustion, and tears before reaching this point.
The actress credited her mother as her main source of strength and dedicated the milestone to her.
Imperial also thanked her cousin and architect for designing the house, calling it a long-earned reward for years of perseverance.
