Anne Curtis denies post targeting Vice Ganda

TV host-actress Anne Curtis has denied a fake social media post being linked to her, which was about her friend and “It’s Showtime” co-host Vice Ganda.

In a statement on her X account, Anne clarified that she was not the author of the circulating post and appealed for “a little respect” from the public.

“Good morning guys! See you on Showtime today!” she posted on Aug. 13. “And cguro naman by now alam nyo Hindi galing sa akin ung post that’s floating around about my sisterette!!! Konting RESPETO naman po,” she added.

The fabricated post, which Anne stressed did not come from her, claimed she was criticizing Vice’s jokes: “Sometimes yung joke mo vice hindi na talaga nakakatuwa, di mo talaga ramdam na nakakasakit kana ng tao, kahit yun man ang role mo mag control ka naman sa mga biro mo, alam mo ba na iilan din kami na may lihim na galit sayo? di ka nalang namin pinapatulan dahil lamang sa respito! ang hilig mo magpahiya ng tao di mo nga alam na andami na contestant na badtrip sayo!”

Vice is currently facing criticism over remarks he made during a recent concert with Regine Velasquez, where he took jabs at former president Rodrigo Duterte.
