PINOY rapper Andrew E. turned emotional during the debut of his daughter, Jassley Fatima, held at Conrad Hotel on Friday, April 26.
Andrew E. broke down in tears after dancing with Jassley to the tune of “What a Wonderful World.” His wife, Mylene Yap Espiritu, also became emotional while watching from the VIP table.
Guests later learned the reason behind Andrew E.’s tears.
During his speech, he recalled that in 2007, when Jassley was baptized, he was struggling with his career. Instead of celebrating at a restaurant, the family went straight home due to financial difficulties.
Andrew E. shared that he had promised himself he would make it up to his daughter on her 18th birthday—a promise he was finally able to fulfill.
