FORMER singer Alynna Velasquez revealed she has been left homeless and penniless following the death of her longtime partner, OPM icon Hajji Alejandro.
Alynna said she never told Hajji about her situation, especially during his final days, because she didn’t want to cause him any more worry.
“Lalo na noong malapit na siyang mawala, binubulong ko sa kaniya, ‘Huwag kang mag-alala sa akin. Okay lang ako.’ Kahit na homeless ako,” she said.
She admitted she was unprepared for his passing, having become dependent on him over the years.
“Noong nawala siya, wala talaga akong handa. I was completely dependent on him. Homeless ako, wala akong pera. Buti na lang, nandiyan ang pamilya ko at nakikitira ako,” she shared.
Despite her current struggles, Alynna said she is hopeful for better days and is preparing to return to singing.
“Okay lang, kakanta naman ulit ako. Sana magkaroon ako ng mga shows,” she said.
