NAGPAPAKAWALA na ng tubig ang Magat Dam sa Isabela alas-4:39 ng hapon ngayong Miyerkules sa harap ng posibleng maging epekto ng tropical depression Maymay.
Ayon sa National Irrigation Administration-Magat River Integrated Irrigation System (NIA-MARIIS), binuksan ang isa sa mga gate ng dam matapos umabot na sa 187.21 metro ang lebel ng tubig nito, o 2.79 metro na lamang bago ang spilling mark na 190 metro.
“NIA-MARIIS released water from the Magat Dam with a volume of 200 cubic meters per second (CMS) that may be increased based on the volume of rainfall at the Magat watershed,” sabi ng NIA-MARIIS.
Samantala, binuksan din ang isa sa gate ng Bustos Dam matapos umabot ang lebel nito sa 16.54 metro.
“Sluice gate number three is now open at three meters with a water discharge of 62 CMS,” ayon pa sa NIA-MARIIS.
