Vlogger in briefs, crop top summoned by LTO over reckless motorcycle stunt

THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) has issued a show cause order to vlogger Boy Kayak after a video of him wearing only briefs and a crop top while riding a motorcycle on a national road in Aklan went viral. In the clip, he was also seen performing a “Superman” pose while the motorcycle was in motion.

According to LTO-Aklan, the stunt, which appeared to be a public road exhibition, constituted reckless driving.

The agency also discovered that Boy Kayak has never held a valid driver’s license. “It was discovered that you were never granted any driver’s license by this Agency,” LTO said in the show cause order.

In a statement, Boy Kayak admitted, “Wala. Wala akong lisensiya. ‘Yung mga tao, gusto ko lang na sila’y mapasaya.” He was fined P3,000 and may be permanently disqualified from applying for a license in the future.

Boy Kayak was given five days to respond to the LTO’s notice.

Despite the controversy, the vlogger said he is ready to accept the consequences.

“Handa akong harapin ang parusa ng LTO at tinatanggap ko rin ang mga batikos,” he said. “Sana maintindihan nila na ginawa ko ‘yun for entertainment purposes lang. Wala naman akong tinatapakang ibang tao.”
