A RETURNING Filipino traveler took to social media to complain about losing several pieces of jewelry that were stored in her checked-in luggage after arriving in General Santos City.
“Dumating na sa GenSan at na-pickup na namin. Pero pag-check ko, missing na lahat ng jewelry ko sa loob. Nakakalungkot na kahit nag-iingat, nadadale pa rin ng nakawan sa travel,” Arlene Toole wrote on Facebook.
She said the luggage was retrieved intact at the airport carousel, but the valuables inside were gone.
“Sobrang sakit. Luggage recovered, pero ang mga alahas ko, wala na,” she added, sharing photos of the missing items to warn other travelers to secure important belongings.
